Combining the skills and experience of our technical specialists enables XMOS Asset Support to understand the challenges and risks our clients face. We work with our clients to formulate the most suitable approach to quantify and manage those risks.
Covering upstream, midstream and downstream assets, our experience has been developed by working with operators and engineering contractors on a variety of challenging projects around the world. Projects range from large to small – from developing an entire asset integrity management system, to performing the root cause analysis of a component failure.
Quantify
We quantify risk using high level audit tools through to simulation techniques such as finite element analysis, computation fluid dynamics and process dynamic simulation. We also have a dedicated specialist on-site diagnostic and troubleshooting measurement capability to quantify the ‘real world’ condition of structures, static and rotating equipment.
Manage
XMOS Asset Support provides impartial advice and solutions to ensure that identified risks are appropriately addressed and managed.
Our service includes designing or modifying processes and procedures for the safe ongoing operation of an asset, or the development of an asset integrity management framework. It also involves detailed engineering solutions ranging from redesigning system components and specification and design of retrofit remedial measures to the design and installation of a permanent monitoring system.
