Abbie Fasasi

HSEQ Manager / Managing Partner (Administration)

Abbie has over sixteen years working experience, all as a Process Engineering in the oil and gas industry and some as an HSE Engineer. She started her career at Pall Europe Ltd. and on onto Crestech Engineering Limited.

During this time, she gained experience in:

  • Project Audit
  • Firewater Water Systems
  • HAZOP and SIL Reviews for each of the systems
  • Process Calculations (Hydraulic , Heat & Mass Balance, etc)
  • Process Documentation ( Basis of Design, Process Description , etc)
  • Process Design and Equipment Layout.
  • Line Sizing using PALS Software
  • Pump Sizing Calculations
  • Hazardous Area Classification
  • Production of P&IDs , PFDs, UFDs and DPDTs
  • Equipment Sizing and Costing
  • Project management of various outfall design scheme.
  • Risk Assessments
  • Data analysis
  • All aspects of HSE Documentation & Calculation

Since joining XMOS, Abbie has supported a number of process studies, gaining experience in process simulation and process safety calculations.

Valerie Nwokeji-Ofoma

Process & Facilities Lead / Managing Partner (Finance)

Valerie Nwokeji-Ofoma is a Chartered Chemical Engineer with over 12 years experience in the Oil and Gas industry working for both operating and engineering consultancy companies. She has worked on a wide range of Onshore and Offshore Process and Utility Systems covering different aspects from Front End Engineering Design (FEED), Detailed Design through to Operations Support.

Her day to day role includes, but is not limited to writing proposals, developing CTR’s and also presenting to client’s on XMOS capabilities in addition to leading the entire Lagos Process & Facilities (P&F). Valerie is responsible for recruiting for the department alongside managing the team’s technical operations and their on-going development.

Ogbonnaya Obasi

Geoscientist / Managing Partner (Business Development)

Ogbonnaya graduated with an Honours BSc in Geology. During his NYSC at HEP Consultants Limited he was exposed to seismic interpretation and was keen to learn and gain as an all-round EP professional. Following a strong performance he was offered a staff position at HEP Consultants Limited after completing his NYSC. As a Junior Geoscientist he continued to learn and develop in this area. During his time in HEP he was involved in various projects ranging from quick seismic interpretation exercises for brief field evaluations to participation in integrated study teams where detailed seismic interpretations were required to support full field development studies. He continued to develop his skills, use his experience and prove his capabilities at Energy Visions and Concepts.

Since joining XMOS he has continued to work as a Seismic Interpreter in parallel with gaining experience as a geo-modeller.
